Update From Fonte Immigration Firm
In response to Corona Virus “COVID-19”
Fonte Immigration Firm remains committed to caring for our clients, our staff and the community as we face the unprecedented challenge of responding to the coronavirus (COVID-19), which was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization on March 12, 2020.
We continue to diligently serve our clients while protecting the safety of our staff and clients. We are working remotely during this time and we will be accessible by phone, Skype and email. However, we believe it is critical to listen to the advice of our Public Health officials. We have closed our physical office to the public and restricted access to face-to-face meetings. This will allow our team to continue to serve our clients, meet important deadlines, and keep our staff and clients as safe as possible.
USCIS has temporarily closed its field offices, application support centers and asylum offices until at least June 4th. It is possible the closures will extend beyond that date. For the latest USCIS updates, visit uscis.gov/coronavirus.
The Office of Immigration Review or EOIR has postponed all non-detained hearings including non-detained merits hearings until June 12th. For further Immigration Court updates, visit: https://www.justice.gov/eoir/eoir-operational-status-during-coronavirus-pandemic.
If you have an interview or hearing scheduled during this time, or you require assistance with your immigration matter, please contact our office at 305-446-1151, extension 218, and we will be glad to assist you. If you are currently in the US in a non-immigrant status such as a tourist visa or ESTA and are unable to depart the country, please contact our office to further discuss your options.
Most importantly, please keep yourselves and your families safe and healthy.
