Magda Montiel Davis is the founder of the firm, and continues to serve Of Counsel. She graduated in 1974 from the University of Miami, magna cum laude (with honors), and is a 1977 graduate of the University Of Miami School Of Law. She was selected one of The Best Immigration Lawyers in America, and has received “AV” rating from the Martindale-Hubbell Rating System (Legal Ability: very high prominent, and ethical standards: very high). While a law student, she worked as a legal intern with the Immigration and Naturalization Service. It was through her work with the INS (now Citizenship and Immigration Services) that she began her career in immigration law and gained vast knowledge and experience in the field.

Magda Montiel Davis has over 30 years of experience in the immigration field. Prior to becoming of counsel to the firm, she was among the first group of attorneys to become Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Immigration and Nationality Law, which means that she passed a special exam given by the Florida Bar on the subject and was certified as a qualified specialist in immigration law. She has authored many articles on the subject of immigration law and has spoken at numerous local and national conferences.
